The mind of a mixed-up songwriter creates sound spasms that come in many shapes, colors, sizes, and lengths. We could be in a video game, on a dance floor, lounging in pleasantries, or screaming in a forest. The term "paracusia" refers to one hearing sounds that aren't there. VandenBoogie attempts to address those inner rumblings and release them aurally. His first release, Paracusia shows the journey of songwriting in a five-year stretch of time. He hopes only to entice the listener's aural palette in this length of spasming hallucinations.
